Platinum Celebrations


1. Monday morning – School birthday celebration at school. 

a. Come in your Decade Kalavata and be seated by 9.00am

b. Bring a book to donate to the Library. 

c. Be prepared to plant a Kau Vuata or Kau Salusalu which will have been bought by the association and made available at the school.

d. Members of the Sounds of the Rukuniveidakua Choir will have a choir practice with the students.

2. Monday evening – Cocktail: Launch of the 40s & 50s Book and the ACS 70 years Photo Display at My FNPF Place in Downtown Boulevard . This event will be hosted by the 80s & 90s Decade.

3. Tuesday morning – Bowling Competition in Houses – Bowling Club, Suva from 9am -12pm.

4. Tuesday Evening - “Swinging 60s Night” – at the Fiji Club, Suva, hosted by the 60s Decades. .

5. Wednesday morning : “Kirikiti -the Island Way” at Albert Park from 9am-12pm. 

6. Wednesday evening : “Sing-a-Long” and Curry Night at the Defence Club 7pm-12pm hosted by the 70s Decade

Theme : Bring Out the Diva in You 

7. Thursday Morning 6-9 : Clean up the Suva Foreshore and Have a Healthy Breakfast at the My Suva Park Bure courtesy of the Milleniums.

a. Bring your mug 

8. Thursday 3- 6 AGM at FTA Hall

9. Thursday after AGM – Sigidrigi/Talanoa ACS: 70 years On

a. Come and hear great speakers and contribute to the discussion

10. Friday (9-11am) – “Platinum Anniversary March” to Albert Park

a. Come in your Decade Colours

b. Gather at the Flea Market by 9.00 am if you can walk the distance

11. Friday Evening : :Sounds of the Rukuniveidakua Concert at the FMF Gym 7.00- 9pm by a combined choir of present students and Old Girls.

a. For a night of reminiscence through the songs, vucus and meke of ACS,  $15 adults, $5 students and sit on the stands (after an early dinner at home)

ii. Pay $35 or $280 for a table of 8 for light seafood dinner & vakalolo.

12. Saturday Evening 6pm – 12.00 : The Grand Ball

13. Sunday 3pm-5pm : Thanksgiving , Re-dedication of ACS and Farewell Service at Calvary Temple, Samabula
